KIMS- ALUMNI

Kousali Institute has more than 1000 + alumni passed out from the portals of KIMS. Alumni of KIMS is holding position of eminence in the corporate world. They are source of great help  and inspiration to young managers at institute in terms of placements and projects.

KIMS has Alumni meet called ‘Darpan’ annual meet organized by KIMS during the month of January every year. Apart from this alumni meets are held in different metros during the month of November and December every year. 

KOUSALI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES ALUMNI FOUNDATION- (kaf), DHARWAD

1. Name: This Society shall be called “Kousali Institute of Management Studies, Alumni foundation (kaf), Dharwad"
    

2. The registered office of the Association shall be situated at KOUSALI INSTT\ITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES , Golden Jubli Building Karnataka University Dharwad
    

3. The Aims and objects of the association are:

a)      to provide a forum for interaction amongst all the alumni of KIMS on a regular basis by

                                                               i.      organizing informal meets with the regular local alumni on a regular basis.

                                                             ii.      organizing annual meet for all the alumni in India

b)      to facilitate continuous learning for the alumni by

                                                               i.      Conducting a variety of short term value added courses in all disciplines so that the Alumni can be abreast of the latest happenings in the market

                                                             ii.      To invite leading experts in the business to share the current trends and best practices in the field.

                                                            iii.      To conduct University recognized short-term diplomas and other Certificate programs for the benefit of the alumni.

c)       to facilitate placement of the current students

                                                               i.      by organizing network meeting of the alumni and sharing the information about the current students

                                                             ii.      by organizing HRD meets at Bangalore and other metros so that the HR executives get to become familiar with our students and our processes

                                                            iii.      by sharing information of various placements and openings in companies and organisations

d)      to help build a strong brand image for KIMS

                                                               i.      by organizing various brand building events and programs 

                                                             ii.      by conducting regular MDPs and EDPs on behalf of the Karnatak University for the benefit of all managers in the industry (including the alumni)

e)      to raise a corpus for the KIMS Alumni Foundation (kaf)so that in addition to the various activities listed above, we also undertake other allied brand building exercises

f)        to undertake any other work that may further the cause of education in general, and management education in particular

g)      to collect funds, acquire property for the attainment of the above aims and objects and to use them for the said objects.
